Saying the inside on the outside
Candy Hearts by Tommy Siegel is a collection of one panel comics that are about, well, candy hearts. More specifically, looking at love on the inside. I don’t really have a whole lot to say about this book other than it was funny with lots of references to online dating and COVID. It also got me thinking about literature after COVID-19 and how much this even is going to change the face of everything we know. All media is going to be affected, or already has been. It’s really mind-boggling to think that we are living through one of the most historically significant times ever.
All that said, 4/5, 7/10.
